The African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) will re-broadcast its 3rd Annual AAFCA TV Honors today at 3 p.m. EST on the AAFCA YouTube Channel and Comcast Xfinity.
This year's show is hosted by actress Yvette Nicole Brown and features a number of awards being presented to the very best in Black television films, series, and documentaries. Yours truly, Ray Cornelius, will also be presenting to Oscar-winning director Barry Jenkins for his Amazon Prime series, The Underground Railroad. In addition, awards will also be given to HBO/HBO Max, the OWN drama series Queen Sugar and iconic television producer Norman Lear.
Established in 2003, AAFCA is the premier body of Black film critics in the world, actively reviewing film and television, with a particular emphasis on entertainment highlighting the Black experience in the US and throughout the rest of the African Diaspora. Click here for more information.
