April 22-23: CAU Economic Inclusion & Competitiveness Summit

Clark Atlanta University presents the inaugural Economic Inclusion And Competitiveness Summit on Friday and Saturday, April 22 and 23 at the Thomas Cole Research Center on the CAU Campus. Panelists and guests include:   Fulton County Commissioner John Eaves, Metro Atlanta Chamber CEO Hala Moddlemog and many more(see above).   The event will also feature CAU President Ronald A. Johnson, the guiding force behind this summit.   The event focuses on the development of strategies and frameworks to empower under represented people to compete in the innovative economy.  On April 23, CAU students, alongside students from other Atlanta University Center institutions and area high schools, will participate in a hack-a-thon addressing issues of economic competitiveness.  In addition, CAU student entrepreneurs will present their ventures and compete in “The Panther’s Den,” a judged business pitch competition featuring Ben Young.   There is not a charge for this event but you must register.
