"Minnie Evans: Draw or Die" Film Screening

"Minnie Evans: Draw or Die" Film Screening

Join the Atlanta Beltline for a night of free, family-friendly programming as part of the South Arts 2026-27 Southern Circuit Tour. Programming will begin at dusk and will feature a screening of "Minnie Evans: Draw or Die," an exploration of the inspirational life and artistic mastery of visionary artist Minnie Evans through archived conversations with her friend Nina Howell Starr. The night will also feature a Q&A session with the film's director, producer, and editor Linda Royal (fka Linda Booker).

Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or chairs to sit on during the screening. Local food trucks will be on-site for those interested in purchasing dinner or snacks.

The Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers is a program of South Arts. This screening is supported in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts
