Single Mom Mental Wealth: A Community Conversation

Single Mom Mental Wealth: A Community Conversation

What happens when the weight carried by a single mom becomes too much—and how does that impact her children and community?

Mpowerd invites the entire community to Single Mom Mental Wealth: A Community Conversation, Saturday, October 3, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Charles D. Switzer Library in Marietta.

As a local lead-in to Mental Illness Awareness Week, the free event will feature a screening of the film Straw, followed by a moderated discussion with single mothers and local leaders from mental health, education, faith, government, law enforcement and nonprofit organizations.

This conversation starts with moms, but it includes all of us. Come listen, learn and be part of building stronger families and a stronger community.

The event is free and open to the public. Registration is requested. Visit mpowerd.org for information and registration.
