The City of East Point and the East Point Main Street Association will host once again its annual Salute to the Red, White & Blue, a free, family-friendly Independence Day celebration featuring live music, local vendor market, kids’ games and entertainment and the largest fireworks display in South Fulton County.
The event, held at the Downtown East Point Commons, will be hosted by Sinnamen Success and DJ Fie and will include performances from a diverse lineup of Georgia-based artists.
Many of East Point’s local businesses will join in the festivities, including restaurant and live entertainment venue Rich & Pour Opulence Lounge, a city staple and major community advocate. A sponsor of this year’s event, Rich & Pour will also celebrate its grand reopening as part of the festivities.
“This event is a reflection of everything that makes East Point special—our culture, our creativity, and our community spirit” said Kristin Jackson, board member with the East Point Main Street Association. “For more than 16 years, our residents, businesses, community leaders and friends have come together for what we proudly call a ‘homecoming.’ It’s really special to see so many, not only supporting the event, but using it as a platform to connect with the community and each other in a meaningful way.”
