Adult (21+), Social, Coed Kickball Leagues Looking for a way to stay active without forcing yourself into another gym routine you’ll quit in a couple of months? Joining a social, coed, kickball team is an easy, fun way to move your body, get outside, and stay consistent without it feeling like a workout. You’ll run, kick, laugh, and burn energy while spending time with people who make showing up the best part. It’s fitness disguised as fun. No guilt. No pressure. Just movement that fits real life. Leagues begin the week of September 8 - September 14. Teams play 1 scheduled game per week at/on their chosen park/day. We offer social rec kickball, intermediate kickball, & competitive kickball. Frame by Frame: The Art of Stop‑Motion Animation invites visitors behind the scenes of one of the most enchanting forms of visual storytelling.

Featuring original puppets, sets, and production materials from across the world of stop‑motion, the exhibition reveals how artists bring inanimate materials to life one meticulous movement at a time. Through immersive displays, hands‑on elements, and behind‑the‑scenes insights, guests will explore the craft, innovation, and imagination that shape this beloved animation tradition.

The exhibition includes puppets and production elements from Adventure Time, Anomalisa, Corpse Bride, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Frankenweenie, Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, James and the Giant Peach, Moral Orel, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer™, and more.

Start your visit in Change Agent Adventure: The Children’s Gallery, an interactive “secret headquarters” designed for children 12 and under. Here, young changemakers step into action through hands-on play, creative problem-solving, and experiences that build empathy, courage, and confidence.

Then, keep the adventure going throughout the museum with family-friendly programming designed to spark curiosity and connection. Every Saturday offers something new to explore together.

The Spelman College Museum of Fine Art presents Between Here & Infinity: Celebrating 30 Years of the Spelman College Art Collection, an expansive exhibition featuring nearly seventy works by Black women artists who shape our permanent collection and define our mission. Beginning September 9, 2026, visitors to the Spelman College Museum will have opportunities to discover art and artists from the collection. The first exhibition to span both the museum’s galleries, this exhibition will open in two waves: at the Bank of America Gallery at the Mary Schmidt Campbell Center for Innovation & the Arts, opening September 9, 2026, and in the gallery in the Camille Olivia Hanks Cosby, Ed.D. Academic Center on October 2, 2026.

Between Here & Infinity: Celebrating 30 Years of the Spelman College Art Collection is grounded in dreaming and the Black feminist imagination, exploring ways of knowing, seeing, and creating shaped by Black women’s lived experiences. Between Here & Infinity presents artworks drawn from the permanent collection, organized by areas inspired by the layers of Earth’s atmosphere to gesture toward the vast and diverse qualities of the Black feminist imagination which shapes it: the Root, works that ground the collection in origin and tradition; the Threshold, works that evoke crossings through transitional space; the Interior, works that turn inward toward intimacy and quietude; the Expanse, works that are conceptually daring and electric in color; and the Horizon, where the past meets the future and dissolves into limitless possibility. Visitors are invited to explore the exhibition in any order they choose, taking in the collection’s range and depth.
