WINGS For Kids Provides After School Enrichment, Social and Emotional Learning

Join us on the WCLK Public Affairs Block Saturday morning after NPR News at 7am for a look at community groups and individuals making a positive difference in the Atlanta Community.  Denise Blake is Executive Director of WINGS For Kids Atlanta, an after school enrichment program that teaches children social and emotional learning skills.  WINGS For Kids is operating in four Fulton County schools in the 2014-2015 school year, and they employ college and grad students from AUC and other area colleges as mentors for local elementary school students who learn how to collaborate and negotiate with one another, and learn more about themselves as part of their academic experience.

WINGS For Kids is a non-profit organization

WINGS for kids was brought to our attention by Rob Hughes, Interdenominational Theological Center graduate and CFO of Interactive Professional Media Group/iPMG.
