Judy O'Reilly is a thyroid cancer survivor that we featured on Your Health Connection earlier this year. Thyroid cancer is relatively uncommon, and most people don't understand how this small gland on your neck helps run your body. When it is attacked by cancer, the therapy and side effects can be daunting.
O'Reilly has started a thyroid cancer support group that will meet on the last Saturday of each month at The Winship Cancer Institute at Emory Hospital, 1365 Clifton Road, Building C, 4th floor, Room 4108, Atlanta GA 30322. The first meeting will be Saturday July 25 from 10a until 1130a.
