November 15: Atlanta Business League Honors Mack Wilbourn

Mack Wilbourn

WCLK congratulates Mack Wilbourn, Founder of Mack II, Inc.—among the newest inductees into the Atlanta Business League Hall of Fame. Mack Wilbourn’s accomplishments as an entrepreneur are legendary. He has operated quick service restaurants since 1971 when he opened one of the first minority-owned McDonalds Hamburger franchises in the Atlanta area. Since then he has owned several franchises, including Popeye’s and Checkers franchises that were consistently number one in sales in their worldwide networks. His current franchises include Atlanta Bread and Bar, Baja Fresh Mexican, Famiglia Pizza, Phillip’s Seafood, Popeye’s, and We Juice It, all located in the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. In addition, he is managing partner of MWJ, LLC, a vending company in Atlanta and he manages the Coca-Cola vending locations throughout the world’s busiest airport. He was awarded the Atlanta Business League’s “Corporation of the Year” in 2011. The Atlanta Business League will induct Mack Wilbourn into the Hall of Fame at their 83rd Annual Meeting on Tuesday, November 15th at the Delta Flight Museum. Ticket information is available at www.AtlantaBusinessLeague.org.
