Programming on Jazz 91.9 WCLK is made possible in part by MENT Entertainment, a proud WCLK Business Member, presenting their Inaugural Kwanzaa Ball on Saturday, December 30, 4:00 p.m. at Georgia Piedmont Technical College. MENT Entertainment is an upscale entertainment production company that will be hosting a black tie or African Garment Kwanzaa celebration.This event is designed to be a classy production that will cater to all out dance party and loads of fun for the Kwanzaa theme and New Year Celebration. This is an event where people of all cultures and races can participate and enjoy the African American culture and New Year Celebration. The music will consist of the theme of Kwanzaa: Jazz, Neo-Soul, Old School, R&B and Hip-Hop.
MENT Entertainment has decided to incorporate both observances, Kwanzaa and New Year's Eve in one celebration. This allows parents to enjoy a night out in celebration and spend the actual New Year’s Eve with their families. This event will include special guest Guy "Pop Du" Johnson, a dynamic horn Jazz sensation and he will be playing two sets for your enjoyment. We will also be enjoying the music of the Precise Band. A full meal will be included for the regular price tickets. There is an all inclusive ticket for sale that will include alcoholic beverages. You can purchase the all inclusive at the door also. If you have already purchased tickets and would like the all-inclusive, MENT Entertainment will allow individuals to pay the difference.
