WCLK Focus On Africa Talks Africa House With Hon. Ambassador Tunde Adetunji

Saturday morning at 8:30am Atlanta's Jazz Station 91.9 WCLK presents a special public affairs program as part of our Focus On Africa. Rob Maynard is joined by Tunde Adetunji, founder of the Africa Heritage Foundation and a recent inductee into the Martin Luther King, Jr. Chapel College of Ministers and Laity at Morehouse College. The Africa Heritage Foundation was founded in Atlanta around the Centennial Olympic Games in 1996. The Mission of the Africa Heritage Foundation is to elevate and promote Africa’s image and profile in the United States, as well as educating the American Public about African culture and values.  Ambassador Tunde talks about how consiousness about the African Diaspora can drive America to become true partners with the countries of the continent. He also touches on Africa House, his vision for an Atlanta-based cultural and business center that will bring Atlanta to the forefront of African awareness, inside and outside the continent.
