Israeli-Ethiopian singer Ester Rada brings her 3-piece band to Atlanta's Breman Museum Thursday, May 7 for an infectious blend of Ethio-jazz, funk and soul. The show is from 7:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Rada has opened for Alicia Keys and headlined in concert halls around the world. Rada’s self-titled debut album has been influenced by legends Ella Fitzgerald andNina Simone and is described as a “cross-cultural sound that is a deep reflection of the Israeli-born Ethiopian’s heritage.”
