Five time Grammy winner Dianne Reeves returns to the Rialto Center stage for one night only and we are here for it! Reeves is called the “vocal heir of Sarah Vaughan” by the New York Times— and is unquestionably among the finest singers of the last 30 years.
Best known as a jazz vocalist but possessing unmatched versatility across styles, Reeves is not only a sublime interpreter of jazz standards but also an accomplished performer of her original, African-inspired folk music, world music, and pop. No matter what the genre, Reeves’ music is always a melodic celebration of the beauty of life. She will be joined by her outstanding musicians Peter Martin, Romero Lubambo, Reginald Veal, and Terreon Gully.
Check out what she had to say about tomorrow night's show with WCLK's Jay Edwards. Reeves will also be participating in a pre-concert discussion with jazz pianist and composer, Gary Motley. It begins at 7 p.m. and show time is 8 p.m.
