Atlanta Ballet
Heart/Beat: Gospel, Brubeck and Rhythms of the City

The Atlanta Ballet presents Heart/Beat: Gospel, Brubeck and Rhythms of the City February 7-9 and 14-15 at Cobb Energy Centre.

The production is an "infectious mix of jazz and gospel" and features three new works by some of today's most sought after choreographers.

The works include Tuplet, featuring choreography by Alexander Ekman; Elemental Brubeck, featuring choreography by Lar Lubovitch and celebrating Dave Brubeck's 100th Birthday; and Sunrise Divine, with choreography by Dwight Rowden and music from the Spelman Glee Club, Golden Gate Singers and Lydia Pace of the Anointed Pace Sisters.
