#UPFRONT celebrates Thomas Jefferson Byrd + Munirah Safiyah Jones of 'Sincerely Camille'

Chandra Currelley and Dashill Smith remember actor Thomas J. Byrd

Tune into UPFRONT Inside Atlanta's Entertainment Industry tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. as we pay tribute to stage, television, and film actor Thomas Jefferson Byrd. His industry friends Chandra Currelley and Dashill Smith will recall their favorite film moments, lessons learned and the legacy of their dearly departed friend.

UPFRONT will also talk one-on-one with animation diva and creator of Sincerely Camille - Munirah Safiyah Jones. The hilariously funny animated series follows a trio of women navigating life, work and relationships in the throes of the 2020 Presidential Election cycle and is a key element of OWN’s first ever bipartisan get out the vote campaign, OWN Your Vote. Ms. Jones will chat about the inspiration behind her characters and weighs in on the national conversation about white actors voicing black cartoon characters and why black representation matters. Watch an episode of Sincerly Camille below:
