Ray Cornelius
Ray Cornelius with Joel King + Ptosha Storey

Today's UPFRONT show features my interviews with actors Chae Stephens and Reno Wilson along with playwright Joel King and actress/associate director Ptosha Storey.

Chae Stephen is starring in the upcoming musical Pride & Joy about the life and love of R&B legend Marvin Gaye. The show opens at the Fox Theatre in June and follows his career at Motown as well as his relationship with Berry Gordy's sister Anna Gordy. Stephen will be playing the "older" Marvin in the show and talked to UPFRONT about Gaye's influence on his career and more.

Reno Wilson is steppin into the role of jazz icon Louis Armstrong in the upcoming film BOLDEN. He chats with UPFRONT about playing such a historic music figure and working alongside jazz legend Wynton Marsalis.

Closing out the show is my conversation with Joel King and PTosha Storey. The two were in town promoting his new show Real Life: An Original Hip Hopera, which is playing now through May 5 at Marietta's New Theatre in the Square.
