UPFRONT featuring Jamie Foxx, Dominique Fishback, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Muta' Ali (AUDIO + VIDEO)

Check out this weekend's edition of UPFRONT Inside Atlanta's Entertainment Industry. It features Jamie Foxx, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Dominique Fishback of Project Power and Muta' Ali, director of the HBO Documentary Yusuf Hawkins: Storm Over Brooklyn.

Oscar winning actor, singer and comedian Jamie Foxx is back with an all new super drama titled Project Power. It debuts this weekend on Netflix and features Foxx along with Dominique Fishback and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a U.S. soldier, a teen drug dealer and a police officer who come together to stop the distribution of a pill that gives each user superpowers for five minutes. I talked to the cast about their characters, what super powers they'd like to possess and more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYfGZuvjVVA">Click here to watch my interview with Fishback and Levitt and watch the full AAFCA Roundtable discussion with Jamie Foxx below:

Acclaimed director Muta' Ali has teamed up with HBO Documentaries for a new film about the murder of Brooklyn teen Yusuf Hawkins. Yusuf Hawkins: Storm Over Brooklyn takes a look back at his murder in August of 1989 and the racial tension and division his death sparked across New York City. The film features never-before-seen footage of protests led by Reverend Al Sharpton, Yusuf's funeral, commentary from former NYC Mayor David Dinkins and much more.
