Today's UPFRONT Inside Atlanta's Entertainment Industry was all about #BlackGirlMagic and #BlackExcellence. It features my exclusive interviews with Brian Banks actress Sherri Shepherd and Queen Sugar star Tina Lifford.

#UPFRONT also features my one-on-one with celebrity interior designer and APSIRE TV star Nikki Chu, whose new season of  UnBoxed with Nikki Chu premiered this week. I also pay tribute to the late singer and actress Whitney Houston, who would have turned 55-years-old on Friday. We're playing hits from her iconic films: The Bodyguard, Waiting to Exhale and The Preacher's Wife.

Ray Cornelius is one of Atlanta’s newest entertainment writers and media personalities.
