I love the music of Jacques Lesure because of his unique style and his approach to beautiful ballads, mid tempo, and hard bop style. Jacques has a deep understanding of the jazz tradition and is also my personal preference. He plays and blends the rich tradition with contemporary and modern influences. I am a jazz enthusiast, and when it comes to contemporary and jazz the art of improvisation, I'm all in. I look forward to hosting an intimate evening of Jazz Under The Stars at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, but indoors because baby it's cold outside.
Jazz Under the Stars is an annual event presented by Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. This year's event happens on Friday, February 28 at 7pm and features Guitarist Jacques Lesure and his quartet.
