UPFRONT featuring Spree Wilson and Timothy Richardson

Spree Wilson

This week's edition of UPFRONT Inside Atlanta's Entertainment Industry features rising filmmaker Spree Wilson and TV/Film actor Timothy Richardson.

Singer-songwriter and CAU alumnus Spree Wilson returns to his ATL roots for his upcoming feature film, Twilight for the Weary.

The intimate story focuses on the grief two brothers encounter after the loss of their father. Their emotions take a turn when they uncover a jazz album made by him titled Twilight for the Weary.

In our last segment, we continue our celebration of #PRIDE by revisiting our conversation with actor Timothy Richardson. He's starring in James Earl Hardy’s classic LGBTQ love story, B-Boy Blues.

The Jussie Smollett film adaptation is available this weekend on BET+ and follows the relationship between a college educated journalist from Brooklyn and homeboy bike messenger from Harlem.

UPFRONT Inside Atlanta's Entertainment Industry is recorded and produced from the campus of Clark Atlanta University.
