It features the Jazz Music Awards founder and creator Wendy F. Williams and executive producer Rushion McDonald. The star-studded awards ceremony will honor the very best in mainstream and contemporary jazz along with a cadre of legends and newcomers October 21-22 here in Atlanta, GA.

In the second segment, we also catch up with Edward Buckles Jr, first-time filmmaker and director of HBO’s much talked about documentary Katrina Babies. The film offers an intimate look at the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and its impact on the youth of New Orleans.

And in the last segment, we conclude our intimate conversation with Broadway legend and music icon Melba Moore. We talk about her new music, her recent honors from President Joe Biden, her upcoming star of the Hollywood Walk of Fame and what’s next.
