The East African Beauty is up for a Jazz Music Awardand will talk about her Miriam Makeba tribute album that secured her the “Best Vocal Performance” nomination. The Jazz Music Awards is taking place in Atlanta October 22 at the Cobb Energy Centre.
We’ll also be playing music from SOMI and other Jazz Music Award nominees Sonny Emory and The Baylor Projectall throughout the show.
