We’re catching up with the stars of the new TV movie PRIDE: A Seven Deadly Sins Story. The T.D. Jakes produced film features Broadway legend Stephanie Mills along with Ready to Love’s Thomas Miles aka Uncle Tommy, Grammy winning Gospel sensation Eric Campbell and Canadian born actress Keeya King. It airs Easter weekend on LIFETIME.
We're also talk to iconic comedian and actor Chris Tucker about his role in the new AIR movie. The Ben Affleck directed film follows the history of NIKE’s Sonny Vaccaro, and his pursuit of basketball Phenom Michael Jordan and how his mother Deloris Jordan helped to seal the deal. Chris Tucker will talk about his character, how he scored the role and his own relationship with his mother.
And closing out the show is Atlanta-based TV and film actor Kevin Savage and Atlanta entrepreneur, media executive and actress Michelle Taylor Willis. They are here to chat about navigating successful acting careers in the A-T-L. The two will also talk about their recent “Leading Men of Film and Television” event that featured a number of notable working actors who gave insight into auditions, representation and booking jobs. This is a conversation you don’t want to miss if you’re serious about acting.
We’re also celebrating Jazz Appreciation Month by playing music from The Crusaders featuring Randy Crawford, Lee Morgan and Queen Latifah.
