We’re continuing our celebrating Jazz Appreciation Month with singer, songwriter and actress Brenda Nicole Moorer. She’s back to talk about appearing at this year’s Atlanta Jazz Festival taking place Memorial Day Weekend at historic Piedmont Park.
And in the second half of our show, we’re talking to TV and film actress Jeryl Prescott. She is teaming up with Ignore No More, a new campaign aimed at educating and raising awareness about sarcoidosis in African American women. Jeryl will also share her own amazing story of hope and healing.
We’ll also be playing music from Brenda Nicole Moorer along with throwback sounds from Ella Fitzgerald and George Michael.
