We’re celebrating the Stellar Awards with Gospel music sensations David and Tamela Mann. The award-winning duo is here to chat about Gospel music’s biggest night and what viewers can expect at this year’s show. We’re also catching up with the show’s most nominated artist---Pastor Mike Jr.
In the second segment, we're talking to dance choreographer and Juilliard student Xavier Logan. He made history this past Spring by choreographing and performing the very first hip hop dance for the Juilliard’s Annual Choreographic Honors Showcase. It was also the first hip hop dance to touch Juilliard’s main performance stage at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater (PJST). He’ll recall that historic moment and what’s next.
And we’re closing out the show with rising actress Ashley Nicole Fisher. She's here to talk about starring in the new BET Plus series, Average Joe. The Deon Cole led dark comedy focuses on a blue-collar plumber who discovers his recently deceased father lived a secret life and stole millions of dollars from dangerous people. Now those people think Joe knows where the money is and a bloody and violent confrontation triggers a chain of events that forces Joe and his close-knit circle of family and friends into a life-or-death race against time to find the truth and the millions.
