The television and film actor is headlining a new comedy western titled Outlaw Johnny Black. Ray initially turned down the interview because of the current actor's strike. However, Michael assured him that he was able to promote the film through an interim agreement with SAG-AFTRA. The conversation took place in front of a student audience in the Mass Media Arts Department of Clark Atlanta University.
UPFRONT/Inside the Entertainment Industry is produced and hosted by Ray Cornelius for Jazz 91.9 WCLK. The show re-airs on SiriusXM HBCU Channel 142 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 6:30pm EST. It is also presented by the High Museum of Art.
