Check out the most recent edition of UPFRONT/Inside the Entertainment Industry.
Host Ray Cornelius goes behind-the-scenes of Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre revival of Alonzo Lamont’s play “That Serious He-Man Ball.” The show is directed by actor Eric J. Little and features a trio of Atlanta’s best stage actors – Eugene Russell IV, Enoch King and Neal Gant.
"That Serious He-Man Ball" follows Sky, Jello and Twin, three best friends, who meet up on their local basketball court to talk trash and attempt to exorcise the demons that pursue them through their everyday lives. The show was originally performed by Atlanta theatre icons Tom Jones, Tony Vaughn and Kenny Leon back in 1988 for the groundbreaking Jomandi Productions.
UPFRONT/Inside the Entertainment Industry is produced and hosted by Ray Cornelius for Jazz 91.9 WCLK. The show re-airs on SiriusXM HBCU Channel 142 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 6:30pm EST.
