Host Ray Cornelius talks to veteran movie star Salli Richardson-Whitfield. The acclaimed actress-turned-director is making history at this week’s Emmy Awards becoming the first Black woman to earn a nomination for directing the HBO drama series, Winning Time. Salli discusses what this nomination means for her career and her ever evolving partnership with HBO.
And in the second part of the show, Ray chats with the cast of the hilarious Horizon Theatre production of Colman Domingo’s Wild with Happy. The dramedy takes you on a zany adventure through grief and acceptance and stars Atlanta’s very own Tonia Jackson, Brad Raymond, Markell Williams and Enoch King. The show is directed by Atlanta theatre icon Tom Jones.
