The multi-hyphenated artist, activist, and humanitarian is here to discuss her indie short Superman Doesn’t Steal. It's been nominated for an NAACP-Image Award for the “Outstanding Short Form Live” category.
The story is based on an unforgettable childhood memory that she and her brother experienced growing up in Virginia during the time of Atlanta’s infamous child murders. Superman Doesn’t Steal features hip-hop musician Mustafa Shakur and ATL’s very own Ellis Hobbs IV, Jordyn MacIntosh, E. Roger Mitchell and Associate Producer Kaypri.
Ray also talks to Tamika about her non-profit organization Make a Film Foundation.
