Xavier Gordon: Lover's Dream

For more than a decade, Xavier Gordon has been an all-around entertainer in the music industry. This songwriter, producer and jazz artist first burst on the national scene in 2008. The Conyers, Georgia native has been playing piano since the age of eight. He’s played with Jazz at Lincoln Center, collaborated with the likes of John Legend and produced music for Angie Stone, Puff Daddy, and Musiq Soulchild, which earned him a Grammy nomination in 2018. In 2021 he released the EP Excellence which debuted at #1 on iTunes. Now he’s releasing the song Lover’s Dream which is perfect for those romantic moments with that special someone, or relaxing on beautiful day no matter the season. On Lover’s Dream, you can hear how clean and precise Xavier strikes those ivory keys. He’s incorporated a light vocal background which augments but doesn’t distract from his playing and helps to bring the song to life. Xavier’s already stellar discography will be enhanced by Lovers Dream. You can hear it when you tune into Jazz at Sundown with Debb Moore on Atlanta’s Jazz Station 91.9 WCLK.

He also added Broadcast Hall of Famer Rick Joyner to the weekday line up as host of Serenade to the The City. He also programs WCLK's HD2 channel which offers Mainstream Jazz 24/7, available at wclk.com
