JANUARY 6: High Museum of Art presents "High Frequency Friday"

The High Museum of Art is kicking off 2023 with a new edition of "High Frequency Friday" and features some of Atlanta’s favorite DJs for a cultural experience designed to raise the vibration.

This month's performances are organized by MJQ's Ree de la Vega, who will be performing in the Atrium. There will also be figure drawings led by Larkin Ford in the Ann Cox Chambers Wing Lobby and featuring popular Instagram models @mr.elle.aye and @mostringerfitness.

Attendees can also dance their way through the following exhibitions: Stephen Burks: Shelter in Place,Deana Lawson, Rodin in the United States: Confronting the Modern, and Monir Farmanfarmaian: A Mirror Garden.

Check out a few "house rules" below if you plan on attending:

  • Due to the popularity of this event, the High Museum of Art ask that you reserve tickets online in advance of your visit to reduce wait times.
  • Guest passes are valid for general admission only and cannot be redeemed during this event.
  • Seating is extremely limited, and priority is given to guests who have accessibility challenges.
  • No outside food or beverage is permitted.
  • Parking in the Woodruff Arts Center garage is limited and may reach capacity before you arrive. Recommended Parking: Promenade Parking Garage (32 14th Street NE)
