Ron Bosse: Bossman

Jazz fusion guitarist Ron Bosse kicks off 2023 in high gear with the release of the song Bossman from his full length CD Burning Room Only released in November. This is a jamming album with 12 tracks I’m sure you will enjoy. The CD starts with Bossman which could be conveying a subliminal message that Ron and his guitar are in charge on the project. He’s joined on this single by the legendary Jeff Lorber and together they make a groove you can’t resist. What I like most about Bossman (and the other tracks on Burning Room Only) is you get the best of both jazz worlds.

If you love smooth or contemporary this song fits the mode but if you like a more modern sound the song’s instrumentation remains true to foundational sound of jazz. Bossman is contemporary and swinging at the same time. I get lot of songs which come across my desk from artists and their representatives seeking airplay. I love when I get song that from the first note you know it’s a winner.

You can hear Bossman throughout the day on Atlanta’s Jazz station for 49 years Jazz 91.9 WCLK, and streaming worldwide.
