UPFRONT featuring Carrie Mae Weems, Alex Sachs, Carol Martin + Cast of 'BRUH' (AUDIO)

Check out this week's edition of UPFRONT Inside Atlanta's Entertainment Industry. It features internationally known visual artist Carrie Mae Weems, SCADfash executive director and curator Alex Sachs and model Carol Martin + Monti Washinton and Mahdi Cocci from Tyler Pery's BET+ series BRUH.

Award-winning photographer and filmmaker Carrie Mae Weems has teamed up with SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) for a new art campaign titled Resist COVID/Take 6. The public installation features buttons, billboards, images on bus shelters and church fans with a riveting message about the racial inequities COVID-19 has on people of color. In the interview, Weems talks about the inspiration behind this project and how it has expanded to other U.S. cities and around the world. Check back to WCLK.com for the video with our full conversation.

Atlanta's very own Tyler Perry made headlines again this week with his BET+ series Bruh.
