Strategies for Financial Success
ATLANTA- Barbara Lewis King Scholarship Foundation Inc. presents its third installment of its College Workshop Series: Strategies for Financial Success. This virtual workshop is scheduled for Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Join Robert Bonner, money management expert, certified Georgia educator with over 15 years of experience, for a workshop aimed at educating students on the importance of how to manage money and making sound financial decisions. This interactive workshop will give students the opportunity to plan out real-world financial scenarios.

About the Barbara Lewis King Scholarship Foundation (BLKSF): Established in 1997, the Barbara Lewis King Scholarship Foundation Inc. has provided scholarships to 348 students to address their financial needs as they seek to capture their dreams through higher education.
About Robert Bonner: Robert is a native of Southwest Atlanta and brings with him a B.S. in Finance from Morris Brown College. He’s a certified Georgia Business Education teacher of 10 years and developed the first high school finance curriculum in the state of Georgia. He taught juniors and seniors at Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta, Ga., the following subjects: Computer Applications, Entrepreneurship, Multimedia, Finance and Business Communications. He also served as the department chair of the Academy of Banking and Finance, where he managed a team of teachers, established strategic alignments with large scale businesses to develop corporate sponsors, and handled the academy’s annual purchase budget. He holds an insurance license for Life, Health, Property and Casualty lines.
