The Metropolitan Atlanta Community Band (MACB) welcomes guest artist Milkshake Mayfield, Atlanta's own jazz trumpeter and flugelhornist extraordinaire!

This special appearance is part of MACB's 2026 spring concert celebrating 100 years of Black history and the 250th anniversary of the United States.

Selections include Ray Charles, Louis Armstrong, and Dave Brubeck medleys... the words of Martin Luther King, Jr., set to a moving rendition of America, the Beautiful... and Georgia on My Mind sung by MACB's incomparable tenor, Henry Porter.

The Metropolitan Atlanta Community Band, now in its 29th year, is the only community concert band based in Southwest Atlanta.

Under the batons of Vanable Moody and Allen Ward, MACB raises money for college scholarships and accepts any musician who plays a concert band instrument and can read music. You can find more information at www.MACBonline.org.
