The South Fulton Arrow Youth Council Brings Leadership Skills To The Next Generation

L-R Jonathan Hudson, Aaron Hypolite, John Reed, Kiplyn Primus and Dr. Maya Taylor

Saturday morning at 7am on The Local Take on WCLK I'll speak with Dr. Maya Taylor about an organization that she founded, the South Fulton Arrow Youth Council. The South Fulton Arrow Youth Council is a nonprofit organization that provides rigorous educational leadership training for students in K - 12 and young adults up to age 22.  Most young people are introduced to the organization during their Summer Institute.

In February of 2017 the South Fulton Arrow Youth Council will host a debate at Greenbriar Mall allowing the young people to add their voices to the challenges being faced in our community.

The South Fulton Arrow Youth Council's current president, Aaron Hypolite and vice president Jonathan Hudson share their thoughts about the organization. The young men share what service means and they speak to being citizens. The young men share with us their hopes and thoughts about the future.
