WCLK shines a light on veterans issues when we can. Saturday morning at 8am on WCLK's The Local Take I speak with Toni Colley-Lee and Roderick Cole about Silver Lining Villages a veteran's holistic services provider.
Ms. Colley-Lee explains what holistic services for veterans really means and speaks about using Emotional Freedom Techniques(EFT) and other therapies to help veterans overcome post-traumatic stress.
Roderick Cole, a counselor with Silver Lining Villages, speaks to the resilience of veterans and how military training can be used to combat challenges in the civilian world.
Colley-Lee goes on to explain that Silver Lining Villages offers services so that veterans can start their own business using agriculture and carpentry,which can integrate entrepreneurship with their therapy. The Fairburn, Georgia farm will host a grand opening and open house on Saturday, March 30th. This event is for veterans, volunteers and family members.
