The Local Take talks 41st Annual Atlanta Business League CEO Luncheon

Saturday morning at 8am on WCLK's The Local Take I speak with Leona Barr Davenport, President and CEO of the Atlanta Business League, about their upcoming 41st Annual CEO Appreciation Luncheon.  This year's luncheon is taking place on Tuesday, May 21 at the Marriott Marquis.

The ABL's CEO of the year is named for the iconic Herman J. Russell.  She speaks about his impact not only on Atlanta's business community, but that he started his business as a teenager. Atlanta's skyline is filled with projects that his company built. Additionally she shares that Mr. Russell supported civil rights leaders and bailed out students who were arrested in protests around Atlanta during the Student Movement in the 1960's.

She goes on to speak about the luncheon co-chairs - Steve Ewing, the President and CEO of Wade Ford, and Mack Wilbourn the President and Owner of Mack II.
