This week on The Local Take I speak with Tiffany Callaway-Ferrell with the Atlanta Business League about their upcoming 13th Annual Men of Influence reception taking place on Tuesday, August 13th at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in downtown Atlanta.
This annual event brings together men from corporate, entrepreneurship, non-profits and government officials all together to celebrate the success of men in our community. This year's honorees include Edwin Moses, and posthumous inductees Cameron M. Alexander and Ivory L. Young
Callaway-Ferrell speaks to the accomplishments of their honorees not just in the business world but also in their community service and outreach.
There will be men from every field, and every age in a comfortable envirornment that allows you to approach them and even ask questions and get advice.
We speak about the importance of representation and for young people, this is a great event that allows them to see successful African American men across many industries.
