Last Sunday, February 21, I featured an interview with Dee Daniels, a versatile Jazz, Blues and Symphonic pop vocalist who resides in Vancouver, British Columbia. She has a four octave range and has released several top Jazz and Blues records. Dee's recent release is Intimate Conversations. I first became aware of Dee Daniels when she was featured on a compilation from the Woman In Jazz of South Florida compilation. Daniels' voice has a hypnotic quality, delivering an impressive range that gives the romantic songs and verse of 50 years ago new life and raw emotion.
