On the November 20 edition of Jazz Tones from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Jazz 91.9 WCLK, I will be interviewing Lori Williams. She's a native Washingtonian and is a vocalist, clinician and vocal Jazz educator. She is the former Director of Programs-National Jazz Choir Director for the Best Friends Foundation. Lori is also the director of vocal music at D.C.'s Woodrow Wilson High School. She has been the lead, background, and shared the stage with Vocalist Oleta Adams, Will Downing, Blackbyrds, Freddie Hubbard and many others. She has independently released three records of her own including her recent effort Behind the Smiles released on October 7, 2016.
