Tune in to the Sunday April 23, 3:00 p.m. edition of Jazz Tones  as I feature the best in Mainstream and Latin Jazz.  My special guest this week is Ralph A. Miriello. Ralph is a music lover,Jazz journalist and freelance writer.  Ralph is also a contributor to Huffington Post, Jazz.com and All About  Jazz.  He is a member of The Jazz Journalist Association.

His most recent review on his blog Notes On Jazz is about  Vibraphonist Steve Nelson's Homage to Mulgrew Miller "Brothers Under the Sun".  You can read that piece here

Jay Edwards is a wizened veteran of Atlanta's Jazz Scene with an unforgettable voice and take on America's indigenous art form. He spent his formative years as a young man in Harlem where he listened and learned jazz from his Aunt and his cousin. As a child he babysat Billy Taylor's children at St. Mark's Grammar School.
