Spivey Hall at Clayton State University welcomes Christian Sands High Wire Trio on Saturday November 16 at 7:30 p.m. 

Born in 1989, “Christian Sands is already being hailed as the greatest jazz pianist of his generation” (All About Jazz). A Steinway Artist and fivetime Grammy nominee of extraordinary stylistic versatility, Christian says, “My music is about teaching the way of jazz and keeping it alive.”

“Sands’ live persona, his whole body language, were that of a man who was bursting with talent and creativity, his inventive techniques and various rhythms were offered to the audience in an effortless and charismatic way” (Jazz in Europe).

Ray Cornelius is one of Atlanta’s newest entertainment writers and media personalities.
