Saturday morning at 8am on WCLK's The Local Take I talked with S. Earl Wilson with Omega Psi Phi about their partnership with Clark Atlanta University to host a Youth Leadership Conference on Saturday, December 7th. The event is open African-American youth from the 6th - 12th grades.
The free youth conference will be held on December 7at Clark Atlanta University's Cornelius Henderson Student Center, from 10:00 am until 4:00pm. Participants will receive life skills tools that will inspire young men to be productive citizens today and positive future fathers.
There will also be parental sessions on the challenges of developing male youth with subject matter experts and family advocate professionals. Information will be provided to enlighten parents on community and law enforcement relations, child support, mediation, and parental rights.
