This week on WCLK's The Local Take(Saturday mornings 8am) we talk Your Power, Your Vote event with Margie Malone Tuckson. The Political Affairs committee with Delta Sigma Theta Atlanta Alumnae Chapter are presenting this workshop Saturday, October 5th at Greenbriar Mall on the Lower Level - 2841 Greenbriar Parkway Atlanta 30331.
They have partnered with the ACLU of Georgia, Black Voters Matter, and Fair Fight to share information on the law as it relates to the right to vote post felony conviction, the impact of disenfranchisement in Georgia and the practical aspects of registering to vote.
Additionally there will be resources and information on voter registration, housing, employment, healthcare and more. This event is free and open to the public.
