Clark Atlanta University has a new president. CAU announced yesterday that Dr. George T. French, Jr., has officially taken office as the fifth president of the institution. The CAU Board of Trustees named Dr. French the university’s new leader on June 21 of this year. Lucille H. Maugé, the chief operating officer for CAU, has been serving as interim president. She announced her retirement last week. Atlanta's Jazz Station 91.9 WCLK is a licensee of Clark Atlanta University.
