The Atlanta Business League is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year. On April 11th, they will host their 16th Annual Congress on the State of Black Business. This event will take place on the campus of Atlanta Metropolitan State College from 8AM - 3PM.
Al Edwards, CEO at CERM and Atlanta Business League Board member, joins us to provide some insight on this year’s event.
I asked Edwards to tell us about this event. He shares that the Atlanta Business League will present its economic development outlook with an eye on the Infrastructure Bill that recently passed. Additionally, they will look at Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts and progress.
Edwards talks about entrepreneurs of every size using the information to strategize about the future based on trends that can be found in the outlook reports. He shares that people working in supply chain management, workforce development, and community organizers will all benefit from their attendance. Local and state government representatives will also be in attendance.
