Sabrina Jenkins, an Atlanta sports marketing guru who has worked with diverse organizations, including our Atlanta BRAVES, is launching a women’s golf tournament. “Tee It Up For Women” takes place on September 26th in Suwannee at Bear’s Best Golf Course. This tournament will focus on women entrepreneurs. This event will allow networking and learning more about procurement opportunities. There will be workshops, fun, and some competition. The ladies of Jazz 91.9 WCLK will be on hand for the competition.
Ms. Jenkins has joined us many times to talk baseball, but this time, she joins us to discuss a new offering from her firm, “Tee Up For Women.” I asked her how she came to launch a golf tournament.
Jenkins shares her experience in becoming an entrepreneur. And her desire to assist other women with their dreams. She mentions that several men are also involved, and the event is open to those just beginning and those who are established in their entrepreneurial journey.
Workshops will speak to diversity initiatives for entrepreneurs, procurement opportunities, and networking styles.
