Jazz on the Green returns to New Hope AME church on Saturday, September 23rd. New Hope AME is the oldest church in the Buckhead neighborhood and was founded 154 years ago to benefit the African-American workers in the community. This annual fundraiser involves the entire community and often includes special guests.
In 2022, Jimmy Heath's family participated by making a special donation to New Hope AME.
Admission is free, and guests are encouraged to bring their chairs. Food trucks will have chef-inspired meals and beverages and vendors with handmade crafts. Donations are welcome.
