The Atlanta Business League will host its annual event celebrating visionary CEOs who lead with purpose. The ABL CEO Awards Luncheon takes place, May 22nd at the Marriott Marquis, brings together leaders from throughout the metro-Atlanta business community. The wonderful thing about this event is that anyone can join the festivities to be in the company of CEOs. You get to walk right up to them, introduce yourself, and ask for their business! Andrella Kenner, CEO of CI2 Aviation and the current Chair-Elect for the Board of the ABL, joins us to speak about the highlights for this year’s event.
I asked Kenner how the Atlanta Business League is able to attract the CEOs of the Fortune 500 companies that make our city their home. She speaks about the history of the event that celebrates excellence by honoring leaders in our business community. This year, the H. J. Russell CEO of the Year award is going to our mayor, Andre Dickens. Kenner explains how this award to our current mayor came about. She speaks about the process, and while she isn’t sure if he is the first mayor to receive the honor, she states that he has been a “most dynamic mayor.”
Kenner shares information on the other signature award winners and encourages everyone to come out to join the festivities celebrating business leaders.
